For large cocktail parties and dinners, the Cowen Gallery offers a grand and elegant setting. The 'Red Rotunda' can be hired separately and makes a stunning backdrop for an intimate sit-down dinner or small cocktail party.
The contemporary and hi-tech Experimedia is an excellent space for presentations and product launches. Experimedia can be hired in conjunction with the adjacent Keith Murdoch Gallery, offering an impressive entrance to your function and the opportunity for private gallery viewings.
The Library's most spectacular architectural feature, the grand La Trobe Reading Room makes an impressive centrepiece for a special event.
Catering for a range of purposes including lectures, presentations, meetings and conferences, the Library's Conference Centre includes a fully-appointed 210-seat theatrette, seminar rooms that can be used as separate spaces or opened up to create one large space, and a lounge that is ideal for receptions, launches or cocktail parties.
One of Melbourne's most beautiful 19th-century interiors, the central foyer of Queen's Hall can accommodate up to 200 people.
