All school programs and self-guided tours must be booked at least four weeks before you bring your students to the Library. Programs are designed by the education team and held at the Library. They complement the AusVELS and Australian curriculum and many are supported by online education resources.

Requests for student visits must be made at least four weeks prior to your intended visit and your request may take up to five days to process. Please provide three date preferences to give us the best chance of accommodating your request. Please note: school programs run 10am–5pm, Monday–Friday, during school terms.

Terms and conditions

The minimum group size for a school program is 14 students. At our discretion we may make allowances for groups smaller than 14 students. In this instance the minimum cost will be equivalent to the cost of 14 attendees.

Requests for student visits must be made at least four weeks prior to your intended visit.

Cancellation less than three weeks before the date of your booking will incur a fee of 50% of the amount payable for the booking.

Non-attendance at a booked program will incur a fee of 100% of the amount payable for the booking.

All school bookings must be accompanied by a school purchase order. This should be provided to the Library on or before the day of the program.

Changes to tax invoices cannot be made and refunds will not be paid.
