In addition to the scheduled learning programs listed, the Library can provide customised sessions for groups. Topics include: book reviews and author biographies; researching artists; census and statistics; medical information; history of buildings; company and business information. The Education Programs Unit offers workshops and tours for school groups, catering for students at all year levels throughout the school year. Bookings should be made a month in advance. See full program and booking details in the School Programs brochure.

Discovering primary sources: A professional development seminar for teachers

In this full-day program, teachers will discover the ever-expanding world of online primary source material for Australian history, and explore ideas, strategies and resources for using primary sources effectively in the classroom. Each participant will receive a certificate of attendance. Morning and afternoon tea provided.
