Learning programs for groups

In addition to the scheduled learning programs listed, the Library can provide customised sessions for groups. Topics include: book reviews and author biographies; researching artists; census and statistics; medical information; history of buildings; company and business information. Bookings must be made a month in advance.

Programs for schools

The Education Programs Unit offers workshops and tours for school groups, catering for students at all year levels throughout the school year. Bookings should be made a month in advance. Full program and booking details can be found in the School Programs brochure.

The Independent Type: Exhibition tour for teachers

Join the Library’s Education team for an informal tour of the exhibition The Independent Type: Books and Writing in Victoria, and gain an insight into the many educational themes in the exhibition. Refreshments will be provided, plus a free education resource kit for each teacher.
