Reading

Reading programs at the Library are developed and delivered by the Centre for Youth Literature. The programs aim to inform and enthuse children and teenagers about books and reading. The Centre's strategy is based on the evidence-based literacy, learning and wellbeing benefits of wide reading.

Centre for Youth Literature events are designed to enrich young people's reading and creative worlds. They offer an inspiring array of Australian writers to discover, meet and enjoy, and will help books walk off the shelves and into young people's hands.
