Tom Loxley is holed up in a remote bush shack trying to finish his book on Henry James when his beloved dog goes missing. The Lost Dog is both a mystery novel and a love story, moving back and forth in time to take the reader on a journey through present-day Australia and 20th-century India.

Her first novel, The Rose Grower, was published to great acclaim around the world. Her second novel, The Hamilton Case, was shortlisted for the SA Premier’s Fiction Award and the Victorian Premier’s Award, and was announced the Regional Winner of the 2004 Commonwealth Prize.
