In My Skin

Cover image for 'In My Skin' by Kate Holden

In My Skin was the number five Favourite Summer Read title, as voted by readers.

This extraordinary memoir describes how an educated, everyday girl arrived in the world of drugs and prostitution. The confronting journey that follows challenges many of our preconceived ideas. Holden’s poetic language, both vividly graphic and compassionate, sets this book apart from other ‘underworld’ memoirs.
