The University of Cambridge is home to one of the world's richest collections of medieval illuminated manuscripts. In this lecture, Dr David McKitterick provides a fascinating introduction to the study of medieval manuscripts, focusing on Cambridge’s rich collection and its historical and contemporary connections to the State Library of Victoria's collection.
Director of Collections and Access at the State Library, Shane Carmody, introduces the lecture. The event concludes with remarks and a thankyou from Professor Wallace Kirsop, of Monash University's Centre for the Book.
