Scot Gardner was born in Melbourne and now lives in Yinnar, Gippsland. At various times he has been a home dad, truck driver, landscape gardener, professional musician, masseur, waiter, counsellor, teacher, webmaster, youth worker and author (finally!).
Scot is the author of the young adult novels One Dead Seagull, White Ute Dreaming, Burning Eddy and The Other Madonna. The Other Madonna was shortlisted for both the CBC Book of the Year for Older Readers and the NSW Premier’s Awards, Ethel Turner Prize in 2004.
Scot’s latest book is The Legend of Kevin the Plumber- a tragicomedy about a young apprentice plumber getting used to the world outside school. |
