Peter Corris was born in Stawell and now lives in southern NSW. He has published more than 50 books and is known as the 'father' of Australian crime fiction through his popular Cliff Hardy detective stories. Peter’s other books include historical fiction, two books about boxing and a very successful biography of Fred Hollows.
Peter won the Ned Kelly Lifetime Achievement Award from the Crime Writers Association of Australia in 1999. His latest books are the short story collection Taking Care of Business and the Cliff Hardy novel The Coast Road. |
