Prize for Young Adult Fiction: Judges 2009

| Clare Renner (convenor)Clare Renner manages RMIT’s Professional Writing and Editing and Screenwriting programs. An award-winning teacher of creative writing, she has worked with many established young adult (YA) and children’s writers and has written over 25 books of her own, including works of fiction and non-fiction for both adults and children. As a freelance writer, Clare has published articles and reviews in a number of journals and magazines and has acted as a judge for the Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards in previous years. |

| Robert CorbetRobert Corbet is an author of books for young adults. His work has been published in Australia, Europe and the US. He lives in the inner city and teaches fiction writing and poetry in Melbourne's outer west. His favourite novel is One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. |
