Clare Renner (Convenor)
Clare Renner started her professional life as an English teacher, before moving on to write educational resource books. She has always had a strong interest in youth literature, was a member of the Dromkeen committee and has reviewed regularly for Viewpoint. She now writes fiction and non-fiction for both children and young adults and is currently teaching Writing for Young Adults at RMIT as part of their Professional Writing and Editing program.

Pam Macintyre
Pam Macintyre is a lecturer in children’s and young adult literature at the University of Melbourne. She was the Victorian Judge for the Children’s Book Council Awards in 1996 and 1997, a member of the Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards Committee from 1994 to 1996. She is vice-president of the Victorian Branch of the Children’s Book Council of Australia. She is Chair of the Youth Literature Programming Committee of the Melbourne Writers’ Festival and a member of the Australasian Children’s Literature Association for Research (ACLAR) and regularly reviews children’s and young adult books for the Australian Book Review and has a monthly column ‘Generation Next’ in the Australian’s Review of Books. She is the editor of the quarterly journal Viewpoint: on books for young adults.

Lili Wilkinson
Lili Wilkinson has been writing since she was nine. She has been published in Voiceworks magazine, Good Reading and The Age's All About Books supplement. She also writes regularly for the Centre for Youth Literature newsletter, where she works as Event Coordinator. Her first book is about Joan of Arc and will be published by black dog books in 2006.
