Mike Shuttleworth (Convenor)

Mike Shuttleworth is the Program Coordinator for the Australian Centre for Youth Literature, State Library of Victoria. He is also a freelance writer and reviewer whose work has appeared in The Age, The Sunday Age and Australian Bookseller & Publisher. He has previously worked for the Victorian Writers' Centre and as a bookseller. He is married, has a teenage step-son and a young daughter.

Clare Renner

Clare Renner started her professional life as an English teacher, before moving on to write educational resource books. She has always had a strong interest in youth literature, was a member of the Dromkeen committee and has reviewed regularly for Viewpoint. She now writes fiction and non-fiction for both children and young adults and is currently teaching Writing for Young Adults at RMIT as part of their Professional Writing and Editing program.

Sian Prior

Sian Prior is a freelance arts journalist, broadcaster and opera singer. She is the former presenter of 'Sunday Arts' on 774 ABC Melbourne and currently writes a weekly column for The Age.
