Judges report

A strong narrative which is cinematic in its scope and vision. The Tumbler is an action thriller which propels character and narrative towards an overwhelming and thought-provoking ending. The central premise is intriguing and uncompromising in its take on money, greed, power, guilt, culture and loyalty. Tough, with moments of unexpected humour and pathos, this is a startling and original piece  of dramatic writing.
