The Village Roadshow Prize for Screen Writing
This prize is not being offered in 2009.
The Village Roadshow Prize for Screen Writing is offered for the screenplay of a feature-length fiction film or for the script of a television drama program.
A screenplay is eligible for consideration if a film or television program has been produced from it and substantially completed during the eligible period. It is not necessary that the production should have been publicly screened during this period. Only the writer's original work will be considered for an award. The Village Roadshow Prize for Screen Writing will be made primarily on the assessment of literary merit.
