| Lyn Gallacher (Convenor)Lyn Gallacher has been a broadcaster with ABC Radio for many years and she's currently the Executive Producer of Radio National's Artworks program. She also has a PhD in literature from La Trobe University, and recently received a Creative Fellowship from the State Library of Victoria in order to write a book about magic. The book hasn't appeared, but she now knows the spell for pulling a rabbit out of a hat. |
| Joel BeckerJoel Becker is Director of the Victorian Writers' Centre and has been in the book industry for more than 35 years as a bookseller, writer, editor, consultant and freelance cultural project manager. Joel has been a judge of the Premier’s Literary Award for an Unpublished Manuscript by an Emerging Victorian Writer, the Ned Kelly Awards for Australian Crime Writing and the Australian Book Design Awards, as well as being on the selection panel for the State Library of Victoria Creative Fellowships from 2003 to 2008 inclusive. He was also a member of the Bid Steering Committee to make Melbourne a UNESCO City of Literature. |
