Rosaleen Love (Convenor)
Rosaleen Love writes about science in a variety of ways, from the academic study of the history and philosophy of science and futures studies, to science fiction. Her work has been included in some 20 anthologies in Australia, Britain and the United States. Her most recent work is Reefscape: Reflections on the Great Barrier Reef. Rosaleen is Senior Academic Associate in the School of Literary, Visual and Performance Studies at Monash University, and an adjunct Senior Lecturer in the English Department at La Trobe University.
John Jenkin
John Jenkin was born and educated in Adelaide and at the Australian National University, Canberra where he completed a PhD in nuclear physics. He enjoyed postdoctoral appointments in England and America, but has spent his mature academic career at La Trobe University in physics and in the history and philosophy of Science. John has published widely in both fields. He retired in 1999 but continues to teach and research in the history of Australian science.
Robert Paddle
Robert Paddle's initial degree was in zoology, the next two in psychology, followed by a PhD in the history and philosophy of science. He is the author of The Last Tasmanian Tiger, which was awarded the Whitley Medal in 2001. Robert currently lectures in biological and comparative psychology at the Australian Catholic University, Melbourne.
