David McCooey
David McCooey is a lecturer in the School of Literary and Communication Studies at Deakin University and a regular contributor to Australian newspapers and literary journals. He is the author of Artful Histories: Modern Australian Autobiography (1996) which won a NSW Premier's Literary Award.
Kevin Brophy
Kevin Brophy is a critically acclaimed novelist and poet. His books include Visions 1992), Portrait in Skin (2002) and Explorations in Creative Writing (2003). He teaches and coordinates creative writing in the School of Creative Arts at the University of Melbourne.
Aileen Kelly
Aileen Kelly is a Melbourne adult educator, specialising in poetry both as a subject for enjoyable study, and in creative writing programs. Her own poetry is widely published in Australia and elsewhere, and her first book Coming up for Light (Pariah Press 1994, reprint now available from the author) won the Mary Gilmore Award and the Vincent Buckley Prize, and was shortlisted for the CJ Dennis Prize. Her current book is City and Stranger (Five Islands Press). She has previously acted as a judge for poetry book awards for the Victorian Premier’s Awards and for FAW.
