2007 International School Libraries Day Conference

Inquiring minds + Flexible thinking = School libraries

Time: Monday 22 October 2007, 10am–4pm
Venue: Village Roadshow Theatrette, State Library of Victoria, Entry 3, La Trobe Street, Melbourne

This conference looks at a range of issues relevant to the State Library's slv21 program and the concept of ‘inquiring minds + flexible thinking’:

  • How might spaces for inquiring minds and flexible thinking look, feel and act? (Both physical and virtual spaces.)
  • What objectives do school libraries share with the State Library of Victoria?
  • What kind of partnership might help us to achieve these objectives?
  • How is the State Library of Victoria bringing together the world of books, knowledge and ideas to engage young learners?
