Heritage & Exhibition Tours

These tours are designed to introduce visitors to the Library - its history, spaces, and exhibitions. 

Library Heritage Tour

The Library offers a free one-hour tour of the domed La Trobe Reading Room, the elegant Cowen Gallery and the new Dome Gallery.

Exhibition Tours for Schools

The Library does not currently run exhibition tours for schools. Instead, the Education Programs Unit offers workshops for students based around temporary and permanent exhibitions. For teachers, previews of temporary exhibitions are offered, along with information sessions on permanent exhibitions.
