Reading by Design 

An expert panel talks about the evolution and future of book design in Australia.

The discussion is lead by publisher Tracy O'Shaughnessy and features Stephen Banham from Letterbox typographic studio and award-winning book designers Mary Callahan and Trisha Garner.

This event was held on 16 July 2009 at the State Library of Victoria in association with the State of Design festival.

Stephen Banham is founder of Letterbox typographic studio.
Mary Callahan is a freelance book designer. She has won many awards for her designs for Austalian titles such as Gould's Book of Fish and The Orchard.
Trisha Garner
runs her own book design business Design Patsy and her design for Florence Broadhurst won Best Designed Book of the Year in Australia in 2007.
