The Making of a Medieval Manuscript

Together with a team of experts, Professor Bernard Muir created two multimedia projects that help us to better understand medieval scriptoriums and artisans. In this lecture, Professor Muir discusses the challenges involved in making these projects and plays a film documenting the process of making a 'medieval' manuscript. The 40-minute film is available on DVD from evellum.com.

A lecture held on 22 May 2008 at the State Library of Victoria, in association with the exhibition The Medieval Imagination.
