Exhibition Catalogue

A 228-page, lavishly illustrated exhibition catalogue has been published by Macmillan Art Publishing in association with the State Library of Victoria. It is available for purchase through official exhibition booksellers Reader's Feast.

The catalogue is edited by Bronwyn Stocks and Nigel Morgan, with contributions from a further 24 scholars from around the world. It is an inspiring record of this remarkable exhibition, showing the beauty of medieval and Renaissance illuminated manuscripts.

Catalogue contents

Each of the five sections of the catalogue is introduced with an essay giving context to the manuscripts and showing the richness, diversity and continuing traditions of the medieval book. A glossary and bibliography provide further authoritative information for both general readers and scholars.

Official exhibition booksellers Reader’s Feast will be operating a bookstore in the Library foyer for the duration of the exhibition, selling the catalogue, along with related books and other merchandise.

Normally retailing for RRP $66, the exhibition catalogue will be available at the special price of $59.95 from the Reader's Feast Library foyer bookstore or through the Reader's Feast website.
