Education Kit

This kit is designed to help Victorian teachers and students make the most of the Victorians on Vacation exhibition. It provides in-depth and engaging activities that draw on the themes of the exhibition- holidays, travel and leisure. Aimed at Years 3 to 10, the activities are aligned with the Victorian Essential Learning Standards (VELS).

The kit can be used in conjunction with a visit to the exhibition, or as a stand-alone education resource linking with online material relating to the exhibition. Images are included throughout this kit for teachers and students to use as starting points for discussion and analysis.

The kit is divided into four sections, each targeting a level of VELS and challenging students across the three integrated strands. Each section is prefaced with a VELS table illustrating the knowledge and skills developed through engaging with the exhibition and completing the relevant task.
