Victoria Mapped

Different ways of seeing and shaping Victoria are reflected in maps compiled and issued by government instrumentalities over the past 150 years.

There are maps that highlight government services such as railways, water supply and schools. Others chart the extent of resources such as forests and public land. Some are about giving, others about taking away.
