Exhibitions
The Library has several gallery spaces which feature permanent displays of items from the collection as well as short-term and visiting exhibitions.
The Keith Murdoch Gallery hosts a changing program of exhibitions built around items from the Library's extensive collections as well as travelling exhibitions from other institutions.
The Cowen Gallery features a permanent display of items from the Library's Pictures Collection. It also hosts occasional temporary exhibitions.
These galleries, located in the annulus of the dome, feature two semi-permanent exhibitions - The changing face of Victoria and Mirror of the World: books & ideas.
