Tuesday 26th May 1835


This morning about 3 oclock
it commenced raining hard
about ½ past 8 A.M. the
man came on board and
took all the letters and started
for Geo - Town - I am glad
they are gone - now 10 Oclock
A.M - we are just going
another time down to the
Heads what little air there
is - is fair - but the clouds
are drifting from the west
altho the wind which is
triffling comes down the
River - I suppose it will
be as usual when we
get to the Heads a westly
Wind, and run back
to our old Anchorage again
but trust the wind may
be fair at last - 10 Oclock
P.M. Am glad to find what
