Monday 25th May /35


This morning the wind blew
a Gale from the old quarter
west - the sea running in the
Heads, mountains high
we were obliged to run further
up the River the wind blew
to hard - we got close under
the point opposite the Lime
Burners Hut - the Captn
and I went on shore and
walked round the Island
to kill time, we got from
Hine , the lime Burner two
Augers - One l ½ Inch the other
¾ - the wind now (2 oclock
P.M -) blowing hard from
west not the least likelyhood
of a change - this day week
we left Geo Town, and I my
dear Wife - I would rather
have been at Geo - Town
all this time, than in this
