neck of Land into George Town
the wind was at this time
about 12 Oclock very fair
and we expected to be away in
a few hours - but at 2 Oclock
the wind came direct from
the Westward, blowing exceedingly
hard accompanyed with Rain
and hale stones - the vessel
came round the Point and
with difficulty got into the
Cove - The Opossum sloop
which had gone towards the
Heads, came back flying
and hankered along side
our Vessel - in beating into
the Bay all our men got
well wet through just taking
up my quarters at Wilson's
Inn - for the Night -
lent Captain Harwood three
