advantage they will receive in pursuing this ~
plan, and as soon as this is accomplished they
will become useful Servants of the Institution.
Some regard ought to be had to the amount
of Tribute payable, and that for the express Sum
equivalent in labour be given, but it will not
be desirable in the first instance to coerce the
Natives to labour.
It may be questionable whether it will be ~
prudent to give the Natives Mutton, otherwise
the Flocks may and most probably will hereafter
suffer - if they require animal food it will be
better to supply them with Salt Pork.
