vessel at present – I have no idea of this fellow acting
in the base manner he has – I hope Wedge has acted
as he proposed in moving the Establishment to the
River – I still feel inclined to send down the first small
vessel that can be got. what think you of it?
And also of Wedges letter – Mr Fergusson is now with
me – He came yesterday and leaves tomorrow – He
writes you tonight – I wish the Norval was in – she
is looked for every day – I see by the Courier that
General Bourke has issued a proclamation this I
think only a matter of form & what he was called
upon to do – Yours of the 14 I duly send via
Launceston –
