The Children’s Books Fellowship is awarded for a project exploring the State Library of Victoria’s collections of children’s books and book illustrations – the largest collection of Australian children’s books in the world and home to the internationally significant Scholastic Dromkeen Children’s Literature Collection of original artworks and book illustrations.

The Children’s Literature Collection holds a wealth of extraordinary pop-up books, as well as stories based on the magical world of monsters. Theresa’s comprehensive research will contribute to the development of this unique collection through a series of paper puppet workshops and a pop-up puppet show for the State Library community to enjoy.

Theresa O’Connor is an accomplished performer, puppeteer and theatre-maker.
