A workshop for secondary students teaching essential research skills and including an introduction to the Library's range of resources.
Year: 7 to VCE
$170 per group (up to 25 students)
The research skills workshop teaches secondary students a range of essential research skills applicable to any subject area. The program includes a comprehensive introduction to the Library's digital resources and a Library orientation tour.
- apply critical and creative research techniques
- identify and locate relevant sources, using ICT and other methods (ACHS208)/(ACHHS151)/(ACHHS168)/(ACHHS186)
- locate, compare, select and use information from a range of sources as evidence (ACHHS210)/(ACHHS153)
