Research skills workshop

A workshop for secondary students focusing on essential research skills and including an introduction to the Library's range of resources.

The research skills workshop introduces secondary students to a range of powerful research skills applicable to any subject area. The program includes a comprehensive introduction to the Library's digital resources and a Library orientation tour.


Students will:

  • apply critical and creative research techniques 
  • identify and locate relevant sources, using ICT and other methods (ACHS208)/(ACHHS151)/(ACHHS168)/(ACHHS186) 
  • locate, compare, select and use information from a range of sources as evidence (ACHHS210)/(ACHHS153)
