Victoria has produced some terrific scriptwriting, from cutting-edge productions at La Mama and the Pram Factory to popular TV shows like Homicide and Neighbours.
A panel of writers reflect on Victoria's great writing for screen and stage, including:
- Joanna Murray-Smith, an award-winning playwright
- Betty Burstall, the founder of La Mama theatre
- Mark O'Toole, a film and TV comedy writer
- Sue Turnbull, an associate professor in media studies at La Trobe University
This event was held at the State Library of Victoria on 13 August 2009.
