School groups can undertake self-guided visits to the Library, but teachers must book before their visit. When you book, we'll provide you with information and resources for your visit.
Self-guided groups must be no larger than 12 students per staff member. Only one group should be in an exhibition or study space at a time.
Self-guided groups may not be able to enter some areas of the Library if organised tours or booked primary or secondary programs are taking place.
Large bags will need to be stored in paid lockers in Palmer Hall. A large locker, which can store about five school bags, costs $4. Only cash can be used to pay for a locker.
On the day of your visit one teacher should report to the reception desk in the foyer so he or she can be briefed and receive a visiting staff badge.
