Students will view and discuss the exquisite rare artworks from 18th-century Italian master-printmaker Giovanni Battista Piranesi (1720–78) in the exhibition Rome: Piranesi’s vision. They will use their Italian language repertoire to describe and document Italy of the 18th century as a travel reporter.
In the workshop they experience printmaking techniques to create their own artwork using classical elements.
