To access eresources from home, you need to be a Victorian resident with a current State Library card. To obtain a card, join the Library.

Informit Indigenous Collections
Search general Australian full text databases for scholarly research in indigenous studies as well as a specialist collection covering current and historical topics in regional indigenous studies.

Informit Indexes
Search specialist indexes and catalogues for relevant information about indigenous culture. The Library owns many of the journals included in these databases, so once you have all the relevant details, you can order copies of articles from our online copy ordering service.

Information about Australian writers and writing from the 1780s to the present. Austlit includes Blackwords,  an index to indigenous literature, with some full text.

Some of the Library's journal article and ebooks databases, and all of the Library's CD-ROMs, are only available from computers within the Library building.You can explore the subject menu which lists these. Many useful free websites are also included.
