Have you ever made a mashup? Now's your chance to get involved and create a mashup or app of your own, or collaborate with another creator. Get your hands on library collection content and data and remix it to create a new application, image, digital story or other new content – and enter it in the Libraryhack competition! You can win up to $6000 cash or an iPad 2.

Come to the Library on Friday 20 May for a series of presentations that will help you with your competition entry. (Please note these presentations now finish at 2:30pm.) Speakers include:

• Ben Hosken, Flink Labs – Defining and working with data visualisations
• Jonathan Grant, Naturally Being – App development for mobiles
• Scott Lewis, Australian Taxation Office – Using data for web development and APIs

You can also join us on Saturday 21 May for mentoring and networking opportunities. (Please note this session now finishes at 12:30pm.)
