2011 State Library of Victoria honorary fellowship recipient Dr Tony Moore
Dr Tony Moore, Director of the National Centre for Australian Studies at Monash University, will discuss his Australian cultural history project which has seen him produce an ABC TV documentary, a PhD and now the book Dancing with empty pockets: Australia’s bohemians.
He will examine the documentary-making process and the challenges of writing for different audiences and popularising Australian history.
