Why I should go
The State Library of Victoria is more than just a big building filled
with old books. It's home to everything from books and magazines, to
handwritten diaries and maps, to paintings, photographs and multimedia items.
It's the place to go for real-life objects that tell the story of your
history – like the flag that Ernest Shackleton took to Antarctica, or Australian football cards from the 1930s. It's a
big building overflowing with lots of amazing stuff that you can use in your
assignments.
