Get a second opinion

When you think you've improved your work as much as you can, ask someone whose opinion you trust to read your essay. Most of the time, they will pick up things you've missed. Ask them:

• What do you think was my main argument?
  
  
• Does the writing flow well?
  
  
• Do the sentences and paragraphs make sense?
  
  
• Have I answered the question?
  
  
• How could it be improved?
