For teachers

This section offers you a range of resources, activities and worksheets that you can use with students in the classroom, or as assessment tasks. There are four Resource Kits each for VELS level 5 and 6, and VCE. Each kit contains:

  • a selection of original images, documents and maps from the State Library of Victoria's collections
  • contextual information about each item
  • print-friendly versions of the resources for class use
  • an outline of key curriculum areas covered in the kit.

There is also a selection of activities that can be used across all curriculum levels, and downloadable worksheets to help students improve their essay writing and resource analysis skills.
