Arts Reading Room
The State Library of Victoria has an enormous range of arts-related
resources, and most are housed in the Arts Reading Room. Here you'll find the Audiovisual Centre, which has viewing facilities and listening stations for the
Library's collection of vinyl, 78-rpm recordings and reel-to-reel cassette
recorders. The Agnes Robertson Music Scores Room contains music albums,
collected editions and reading/listening posts.
Experimedia
Experimedia is different to most places in the
Library – it's a space for creativity and relaxation. Here you can play
computer games, work on digital projects, or just lie on a beanbag and watch
the big screen. There are Apple computers and software, and Victorian-created
games for PC, Gameboy, Playstation and Xbox, all free to use.
