Environment
The Library has an extensive collection of resources focusing on the environment and conservation. A complex area of study covering many different fields, this collection includes materials on ecology, energy, climatology, health and safety, endangered species and waste management.
What's special about the Environment Collection?
This collection has a particular emphasis on Victorian and Australian environmental impact statements, major reference works and periodicals. It is supplemented by a wide range of encyclopedias, dictionaries, handbooks, government publications, books, journals, and electronic indexes with accompanying full articles. Significant international scientific studies, protocols and agreements, and the proceedings from key global conferences are also well represented.
How can I access material in this collection?
A selection of items from the Environment Collection is available for browsing and reading in the Information Centre and the Redmond Barry Reading Room.
