Easter Opening Hours & Services
Over the Easter holiday period, the State Library will operate as follows:

The exhibition galleries will close at 5pm each day.
Normal hours will resume on Tuesday 25 March (10am-9pm).
Library services
The Library will provide basic information and copying services, and delivery of requested items from onsite storage.
Requests for offsite storage items
To use materials from the offsite store during the Easter period, please request material in advance, as follows:
- offsite books and journals - request by 5.30pm on Thursday 20 March if you need them on Easter Saturday or Sunday, and by 5.30pm on Easter Sunday if you need them on Easter Monday
- offsite newspapers - request by 5.30pm Wednesday 19 March.
Heritage collections appointments
The Library's Heritage collections, including Rare Printed, Manuscripts, and Pictures, will not be open for appointments during this period.
Requests for Heritage collections items
There will be no deliveries of onsite or offsite materials from Heritage collections to the Heritage Collections Reading Room during this period. Requests to use material from these collections during this period must be made by 3.00pm on Thursday 20 March.
