Electronic resources

The following items are a selection of electronic materials that are available for research and study when you visit the Library. Most of these items can be accessed at computer workstations throughout the Library. Staff at the information desks can help you locate these resources.

Academic Search Premier

A multidisciplinary database with nearly 4,000 full-text journals including a collection of  psychology and behavioural science  titles.

APAIS (Australian Public Affairs Information Service)
Produced by the National Library of Australia, this database includes access to Australian psychology literature (some full-text).

Australian Education Index (Australian Council for Education Research)
Useful for journal articles on educational psychology.

Encyclopedia of Psychology
A database of links to psychology Internet sites.

Family (Australian Institute of Family Studies)
Deals with all aspects of family life including research and policy development.

PCI (Periodical Contents Index)
International index to social sciences/humanities journals spanning 200 years; currently up to 1995

Psychology and Behavioral Sciences Collection
A sub-set of Academic Search Premier, this database provides for a more focused search of the psychology literature.
