Electronic resources

The following items are a selection of electronic materials that are available for research and study when you visit the Library. Most of these items can be accessed at computer workstations throughout the Library. Staff at the information desks isn the Information Centre and the Redmond Barry Reading Room can help you locate these resources.

Applied Science and Technology Abstracts 
This database contains 560 core English-language scientific and technical publications including material in the engineering and transportation fields.

Coverage is from 1983 onwards for indexing and 1993 onwards for abstracts. It includes links to 160+ full-text journals available in the other Ebscohost full-text databases to which the library subscribes.

ENGINE  (Australian Engineering Database)
This is a bibliographic database, produced by the Institution of Engineers, Australia, that indexes and abstracts published and unpublished material in Australian engineering since 1980.

ATRI  ( Australian Transport Index )
This is a bibliographic database produced by the ARRB Transportation Research Ltd, that indexes and abstracts published and unpublished material on transport including vehicle design and safety. Australian and New Zealand material is covered comprehensively while overseas material is indexed more selectively. Coverage is from 1976 onwards with some earlier records.
