Electronic resources in the Library

The following items are a selection of electronic materials that are available for research and study. These items can be accessed via this website or at computer workstations throughout the Library. Staff at the Redmond Barry Reading Room information desk can help you locate these resources.

MMBW Plans Online

Part of the Library’s collection of MMBW plans has been digitised and made accessible online via the Library's Main Catalogue. A custom-built interactive application enables three levels of linked plans to be browsed, searched, zoomed and printed. The plans, produced to build Melbourne's sewerage system, provide a significant historical record of Melbourne streetscapes and features. Learn more about the plans and how to use them.
