Vicnet

The Vicnet Division is the Library's community-based technology business. It delivers
information and communication technologies, and support services which aim to strengthen Victorian communities.

Vicnet provides:

Internet services for the community
Vicnet provides a range of internet services to community groups and libraries, including broadband and dial-up internet and email access, website & domain hosting, and website design and development. For more information see the Vicnet Products page.
ICT project management
Vicnet provides project management for a range of government projects and activities, as well as delivering services such as the web development and training required by these projects. Some of the projects currently being delivered are the Public Internet Access project, IT for Kindergartens, My Connected Community and Skills.net Roadshow.
Vicnet community information portal
The Vicnet portal is a website where Victorians can access and share community information. It has approximately 10,000 links to Victorian organisations, and hosts nearly 5000 community websites.
Training
Vicnet is a registered training organisation (RTO) and provides ICT and internet training to a broad range of Victorian community groups, including seniors and multilingual groups. For more information see the Internet & Email Training page.
