Divisions
The Library’s organisational structure, like that of other cultural institutions, has undergone both major and minor changes over the last few years in response to challenges arising from the building redevelopment, emerging technologies, user expectations, fiscal fluctuations and policy priorities.
The Library’s current organisational structure is divided into three departments, each of which is separated into divisions covering the major operational activities, and the Office of eStrategy & Innovation, which has no divisions within it.
The divisions are:

Access and Information Collection Management Events & Exhibitions
Corporate Services and Planning Department
People & Property Finance & Governance Technology Services
Community, Learning and Public Library Partnerships Department
Learning Services Public Libraries Vicnet Publications & Communications Marketing & Public Affairs
Office of eStrategy & Innovation
There are no divisions within the Office of eStrategy & Innovation.
